Thanks to Lei over at the Parenting Autistic Children with Love and Acceptance Facebook page, there is a holiday shopping guide with links to the work of autistic artist, writers, and creators. I’ve selected 4 artists from that list and chosen one item from each for the giveaway.

Here’s what you can win:

  1. My 5 yr old daughter who has a diagnosis of Autism Level 2 loves to take pictures. Our children need to see more of what Autistic adults are doing. I am excited to check out the holiday shopping guide.

  2. I have a rainbow brain pendant from Tiny Brush and I wear it almost every day. Perfect for stimming! And beautiful too…

I’ll cross my fingers for a chance to win the ABCs of Stimming! It’s on my Christmas list anyway. 🙂

  3. I don’t have a blog, but I love this idea in general whether I win or not. 🙂 Your blog has helped me so much it’s me who should give you something, but maybe my thank-yous and comments suffice.

  4. Nearly didn’t post a comment because havent been reading very long and feels cheeky. Then I decided I was being stupid!
Thanks for making this open to everyone. I love the notebook and pendants. I don’t have a blog and am not “out” so no can do on facebook for now.

I am reading all the back issues of the blog as well as keeping up with the new ones. I found it after getting your book off amazon, and it is very helpful to me at the moment.

      1. I’m an artist, but haven’t tried selling things in the last several years ( the business side of it drives me batty). In the last couple of years I’ve been doing ‘dot’ paintings, and would be happy to contribute one. They aren’t very big, some are 8×10, others are 9×12, occasionally I make them larger or smaller. Here’s an example.

        1. Ouch! I’m sure the dot paintings are beautiful, but for me the pattern is too intense. I started to phase out after less than half a second of looking at that picture.

          1. Sorry about that Barry 🙂
This is actually a more mild example of what I’ve been painting.

My wife has been having recurring bouts of vertigo for the last half dozen years and when she saw the most recent painting I was doing, she had to look away. Here’s a link to it full size and detail shots… but don’t go there if the red one was too intense. 🙂

Funny thing is that I hate clutter, and I can’t stand granite counter tops because of the visual noise… but somehow I don’t get that same effect from my own paintings.

  5. I shared this on my blog http:// fictionaddictionfix dot blogspot dot com, and I followed this blog, and tweeted and faceboooked. Wonderful artwork and contest! Thanks for the opportunity.

  6. These are beautiful items. I have two sons with Autism and love that Autistic individuals are making these amazing things. Thank you.

  7. Absolutely love this. I will be looking through the holiday giveaway guide-definitely need that stimming book and a pendant!

  8. Lots of beautiful creations! I’m sure that they will be treasured by whomever wins them! And, as soon as I figure out how to do so, we will try to re-blog the tumblr post, as well. Thanks!

  9. I reposted the list on my FB, so many great artists, crafters, and books, ah… how to choose, I want them all!

  10. I just found out a month or so ago that I am autistic, and I just found your blog today…look forward to reading more 🙂
